Brian Pelon
Bio
Brian Pelon joined Howard Law Group in January 2025. He has legal experience in civil litigation and administrative law, but he specializes in criminal law.
Mr. Pelon graduated from University of Georgia School of Law in 2022. As a law student, Mr. Pelon gained legal experience working in several clinics including the Child Endangerment and Sexual Exploitation (CEASE) Clinic, the Criminal Defense Clinic, and the Prosecution Clinic, the Criminal Defense Clinic. At the Criminal Defense Clinic, Mr. Pelon assisted with the defense of a murder trial resulting in a not guilty verdict and he tried several cases under the third-year practice act in the Prosecution Clinic.
Following graduation, Mr. Pelon clerked in the Conasauga Judicial Circuit for Superior Court Judge Jim Wilbanks. Following his judicial clerkship, Mr. Pelon briefly worked as an Assistant Solicitor General for Fulton County before moving to work as an Assistant Attorney General in the State Licensing Division of the Georgia Attorney General’s Office. Prior to joining Howard Law Group, Mr. Pelon worked for an insurance defense firm.
Mr. Pelon earned his bachelor’s degree from UGA and during his undergraduate program he walked onto the Georgia Football team as a defensive end.
